OutVote is a youth-focused, youth-led organization cultivating a network of young organizers to promote civic engagement and education in the LGBTQ+ community. The only organization of its kind, OutVote targets campus gender and sexuality centers, LGBTQ+ community centers, and LGBTQ+ nightlife as under-engaged opportunities for equipping queer and trans people with the resources and education to vote.
OutVote is a new organization building a youth-led culture of LGBTQIA+ civic engagement to create electoral power, protect our community, and elect leaders who reflect the diversity of our nation. OutVote will be operating in Arizona and Pennsylvania during this election cycle, working with organizers to provide civic education and voter mobilization resources for young LGBTQIA+ communities. The flagship OutVote Fellowship Program will provide between 10-20 organizers with a $1,000 stipend, a comprehensive 8-week virtual training curriculum throughout the summer, and additional funding to host mobilization events from August to November 2024.
